Decorating November
Is it just me, or does it feel like you blinked and October came and went!? Every year time seems to go by faster and I find myself just trying to catch my breath and keep up. Even though October has come to a close, November has arrived and that puts a smile on my face. November is one of my favorite months. The weather has finally got the hint and cooled down and it's kind of the snooze month before the madness that is December hits. Today (November 1st) I awoke with a purpose, the Halloween decor was coming down!!...My harvest decor would soon replace it. Even though I enjoyed having the Halloween decor up, I became restless and bored with it. The itch to decorate for harvest time was strong! I now know that I can not be decorating too early. So I told myself mid October, that I would not decorate for November until November! This gave me excitement as it was something to look forward to. I woke up just as the sun started to and while I ran the coffee pot, I started to dissemble the Halloween decor. I was so excited to start with the new decoration that I couldn't take things down fast enough LOL!
This year I decided to really only focus on the kitchen when it comes to the holiday decorating. I may go a little out for Christmas, but as for the months of October and November, I was only focused on the kitchen. Below is a before and after of the space. I must say, it was nice to see my counters and island back. I hope you enjoy the work that I've done. It was not only fun and exciting to decorate this morning, but also therapeutic. I really get in my zone and when I have a vision in mind, I must see it come to life ^_^

This little tiered stand has been so much fun to decorate for both October and November. It's a fun way to display some of my Rae Dunn mugs and I enjoy all the different layers. This particular tier I picked up from Hobby Lobby. The beaded garland and wood monogram pumpkin I found at Kirklands and for 50% off, heck yeah!

These super cute bowls I found while thrifting and the utensil holder I found at Homegoods. I love mixing old with new. I also decided to display all our wooden cooking tools out on display. I know there just spoons, but there's something about them that is so simple and beautiful to me.

This space is one of my favorites in the kitchen. It also serves as our coffee station. The barn gather sign I picked up from Kirklands.

Are these mugs just not the cutest!?! You can find these ceramic cuties the store athome. I had been wanting some of the Rae Dunn farm line mugs, but I don't care for the actual mugs egg shape. These little mugs and their shape are prefect! I just wished they had one with a horse on it haha.

I love all the neutral tones going on in this corner

I had my eyes on this wooden like turkey from Hobby Lobby for a while and now that all their fall decor is 50% off, I couldn't pass him up.

And you know I just HAD to have more horses in the kitchen! LOL This particular horse print I found on Etsy. The galvanized bucket I found while thrifting. I added some faux white pumpkins with leaves and it's the perfect little centerpiece for this corner.
Thank y'all so much for clicking on this post! I do hope you enjoyed how I decorated this year for the month of November. Like I mentioned before, decorating in general brings me so much joy, but something about decorating for the seasons makes it extra special for me. Have a blessed day everyone. Until next time.
